Charging an electric car or a hybrid car at this site is NOT ALLOWED, as the ground heat engine at the site may be damaged if there is an electrical overload. 53 km to the south from Rovaniemi, lake Särkikämä 25 m (length 4 km, width 2 km), shallow beach, hard sanded bottom, large pier, own rowing boat and electric outboard motor. Log cabin, built in 2020. Living room, kitchenette and dining area, 3 bedrooms, all with 2 beds, washroom/WC and large covered terrace. Lapland Villa 1028 is a versatile holiday home in a beautiful location by a clear-water and fishy lake. The lake is on the west side, so the evening sun warms up in the best way. Water in the tap comes from own well and contains manganese, which causes taste and smell into water. Owner brings drinking water. The hot tub is oil-heated and automated. The thermostat keeps the water evenly warm. The owner guides you how to use the hot tub and charges a usage fee on site (weekend 50 €, week 100 € in 2021). Neighboring cabin on both sides, distance is about 30 m. Next door, Puuhamaa cabin 7806, which lakeside sauna’s back wall is within 20-meter distance. However, there is still own peace in both cabins. Puuhamaa and Lapland Villa 1028 together offer comfortable accommodation for 16 people. You can order catering services from the owner.
