Just a short stroll from the Moosfluhbahn ski lift, this retreat offers the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience, with the railway and local shops within easy walking distance.

The chalet features two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with two single beds—ideal for families or small groups. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, while a separate entrance area provides convenient storage for skis and boots. (Please note: the fireplace is currently not in use.)

But it is not stated that the apartment is NOT accessible by car and ONLY accessible by ski lift. It should be stated more clearly.
There is lots of extra costs involved.
Parking at the botom of the mountain is 10chf per day
Ski lift one way is 10chf per person
A taxi to get to the apartment with your luggage is 45chf one way
There is al 100m walk down a hill from where you get of the taxi to the apartment. I would not recommend this for elderly or handicapped.
I would still recommend this apartment and location as it has exceptional views and the mountains was an amazing experience.

Nichole June 2025The view of the mountains was beautiful. This duplex was a very nice place to stay. Two bedrooms, nice kitchen and living room seating and plenty of space to move around. Loved the sliding patio door. It brought the outside in doors and the mountain view was unbelievable.
The Aletsch Glacier view was just a cable car ride away. The Aletsch Glacier Panorama trail was excellent for experienced hikers. It is our number one most interesting hike so far. Very long hike but worth every minute.

Beautiful and quiet apartment located on the lower floor of a chalet with breathtaking views of the alpine panorama including the Matterhorn. Couldn't be more pleased with the place itself. The only thing to be aware of is that the apartment is not located as close to the Moosfluh ski lift as other accommodations might be. Walking uphill with skis and cross-country skiing over to Moosfluh each morning with a 10 year old was a bit of a slog, and so was going shopping to Coop (located across from Rieder Mitte). Taxi rides to the center of the village cost 75 CHF one way, not making this a viable option for frequent travel, so families with young children might want to look elsewhere for a place to stay. But the place is really lovely, so another option is to get really organized, do all of your grocery shopping for the week in advance, bring it all with you together with your suitcases, skis, etc. in the taxi when you first arrive, and then just slog your skis up the hill each morning.
